Hudson Volleyball Association is a non-profit 501c3 organization dedicated to promoting and developing the sport of volleyball to young players through an emphasis on technical instruction that teaches the skills and techniques needed to learn and play the sport competitively. This assures an atmosphere that promotes individual skill improvement and a mental understanding of the game while encouraging competitiveness and fun. Our programs encourage good sportsmanship in winning and losing, and respect for people and property.
Our Winter - Junior Olympic (JO) program is for girls ages 11-18.
Our Spring and Summer programs are for girls in grades 4th to 8th within the Hudson School District.

Spring League is open to all girls in 4-8th grade residing in the Hudson School District. The season runs March to mid-May. See parent letter/season flyer for more information.
Depending on interest at each grade level, we may need to start a waitlist for that grade. TO BE ADDED TO THE WAITLIST - you must email the spring email account (hudsonvolleyballwi@gmail.com) indicating your daughter's name and grade. Waitlist is first come, first served based on the email received.

All players are required to complete the WIVL Medical Consent Form electronically before participating in any Spring League activities. Make sure you are logged into SportsEngine to complete the form.

Players in 4-6th grades who are currently registered for Spring League 2026 are eligible to participate in the following sessions. Each session is limited to 24 players; thus participants must be pre-registered. Sorry no walk-ins will be accepted.
Fee: $10 per session (please bring cash to the session)
4th and 5th Grade - Spring League Beginners with 0-1 season playing experience – The focus will be on the core skills required in the sport of volleyball and the basic concepts of a volleyball game.
Time: 3:15PM-5:00 PM
Session 1: Sunday, Feb 22 at Hudson Middle School
Session 2: Sunday, Mar 1 at Hudson High School East Court 1 and 2
5th and 6th Graders - Spring League Fundamentals with 1-2 season playing experience – Open to 5th and 6th graders who have played 1-2 spring seasons and want gym time to focus on serving and defense before the season begins.
Time: 5:00 PM-6:45PM
Session 3: Sunday, Feb 22 at Hudson Middle School
Session 4: Sunday, Mar 1 at Hudson High School East Court 1 and 2

The required WIVL Medical Consent Form must be completed in order for players to be allowed to participate. NEW IN 2026 - The WIVL Medical Waiver and Concussion form will now be completed online. You must be logged into SportsEngine to complete the waiver. The volleyball waiver is housed on the Great Northwest Basketball League website under "Waivers".(www.gnbl.org)

AGE 15-18s - Tryout Date is Sunday, November 16, 2025 at Hudson Middle School
Again this year we will be holding optional open gyms prior to tryouts for 15-18s. There will be a $10 fee for each session you choose to attend which can be paid with cash (only) the day of the open gym. You MUST bring the completed medical waiver form to the open gym in order to participate. Space is limited and so PREREGISTRATION REQUIRED. See link below.

Attention 2026 Graduating Senior VB Players!
Each year the Hudson Volleyball Association awards at least one scholarship to a college bound high-school senior who has participated in HVA's Croix Attack JO Program. The award is based on the student’s involvement with the Club, as well as academic, athletic and community accomplishments.
DEADLINE: The completed form(s) must be received by Saturday, February 28, 2026.
A tryout membership is required to attend the 2025-26 Croix Attack JO Tryouts.
